Some more thoughts about the playoffs as they have progressed so far.
I know NY lost 2 of their 3 best players, reducing them to a D-league team + Melo, but I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if they got sweeped even with all of their players healthy. With that said, I think Boston was a lot better with Perkins instead of whatever ghost it is masquerading as J. O'neal and S. O'neals dead body.
Orlando has fallen far. I saw someone write as to whether we can now call Vince Carter and Rashard Lewis co-MVPs. I think we have to consider it... I mean... wow... This ATL team was swept just a year ago in horrible fashion. Now they're up 3-1 and looking like a competent team. However, I still have a motto regarding the Hawks. Never trust the Hawks.
THUNDER UPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are the Lakers really just being lazy right now? Is there a chance that maybe they're a little worse than we all thought? Are they getting too old? I really never know wtf is up with the Lakers, and this isn't any different. Although I have to say, Pau Gasol sometimes makes me wonder if the Lakers wouldn't be better off today (not saying anything about the previous years, just today) with Marc Gasol. Also, Chris Paul is a god.
Can we take the "fear the deer" line from the Bucks and put it to the Grizz and change it to "fear the bear"?
