As an NBA fan, this has to be the most fun time of the year. This is where we see which teams have had the best seasons, and thus earned a right to be in the playoffs. Everything intensifies (over time). Players get serious, coaches get serious, even fans get serious. There were four games today, and I watched part of all of them, so I guess I'll just recap them.
Cleveland vs. Chicago:
Heh... there's just about nothing to see here. D. Rose might be good, but he does not stand a chance against "The King". No chance. Normally I root for underdogs just for the drama, but there's no point here... ain't gon be no fairy-tale ending here for the underdog.
Milwaukee vs. Atlanta:
The Bucks would actually have a chance... if Bogut didn't suffer that nasty arm injury. Jennings scored 34, but without Bogut, they aren't doing any upsetting.
Boston vs. Miami:
After seeing the Celtics win that championship, I hate the Celtics (for no good reason). So guess who I rooted for? Miami had this game in the third quarter, but gave it away in the fourth. Paul Pierce went down with an "injury" with 40 seconds left, of course he came back perfectly fine (remember the last time he went down with an injury in the playoffs? Oh yeah...). I hope the Celtics lose this, and I would actually bet the Heat can pull off the upset here.
Utah vs. Denver:
MELOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Everyone in Utah seems to be getting injured, and Melo is just too much to handle. Of course we can't forget when JR SWISH! goes crazy! Anyways, interesting series here, have no idea which way it's going to go. Fun to watch, and no preferred team (unlike that other series).
And of course the other 8 teams play tomorrow. GO THUNDER! I'm pumped and excited!!! :)
